Marcelle Toing is the protagonist of Ratatoing, the animated ripoff of Ratatouille. Marcelle is a rat who owns a restaurant called Ratatoing, and he named it after himself, because he is a rat and his last name is Toing. His first name being French in origin makes no sense since he is from, presumably, Brazil.
