Marcelina Bautista is a Mexican human rights activist and trade union organizer. She worked as a domestic worker for 22 years, starting at the age of 14. She put herself through school, graduating from the Ibero-American University and started organizing her fellow workers. She founded the organizations Centro de Apoyo y Capacitación para Empleadas del Hogar in 2000 and Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores y Trabajadoras del Hogar (SINACTRAHO) in 2015.
Marcelina Lech is a Polish figure skater who represented Poland in ladies single skate as a young girl and then turned to pair skating, where she skated for Poland with Jakub Tyc and for Spain with Aritz Maestu.
Marcelina Vahekeni is an Angolan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Angola 2011 and represented her country in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant.
Marcelina Herrera (born c. 1916), also called Hawelana or Ha-we-la-na, was an American painter from the Zia Pueblo tribe known for her flat painting style and use of pattern. From 1934 to 1937, she studied at the Santa Fe Indian School in Santa Fe, New Mexico at The Studio under Dorothy Dunn. Herrera went on to study at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Her work has been exhibited at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
