Possible variant of Marsaili or Maisie. It is the name of the heroine in Child Ballad 65, though some variations of the ballad name her Margery or Marjorie. It is also the name of a minor character in Diana Gabaldon's 'Outlander' book series (spelled Maisri) and the English folk trio Lady Maisery.
