Madhuri

Someone from southern UK would probably pronounce this as 'Mad-uree', so if someone would add the correct pronunciation that would be appreciated. I find this name quite pretty, even delicate.

I have such a positive impression of this name. The meaning is nice, and it sounds beautiful. It also doesn't hurt that one of my favorite actresses, Madhuri Dixit, bears this name.

While it is a lovely name, it's rather difficult for people in many Western countries to say. My friend, Madhuri, has gotten everything "Mad-hurry" to "Madre" (a different name entirely).
