I think Macy and Macey could work as a feminine form of Matthew and Thomas. The surnames Macy, Mace, Macey and Masse are English (via Norman) surnames derived from Matthew (and possibly Thomas). In fact, there's a feminine form of Masse (which is also an archaic nickname for Matthew), which is Masota (in the Submitted Names Database). I can see Macy and Macey working as nicknames for Masota as well.Sources:

Are there any other guys named Macy out there, or am I the only one? I was named after my parents, by the way (1st syllable of each of their names).
Also a Victorian diminutive of Thomasine.
I think Macy is a popular name. Two of my very close friends names are Maci with an I. I also know a lot of other Macy's that go to my school.
