Lysandra is a character in the Throne of Glass series who is amazing. She's badass yet manages to maintain her femininity and is a strong, honorable character. If you want a strong, awesome daughter than this is a perfect name. It sounds soft yet sophisticated and is very beautiful, much like the character herself.

Lysandra is a character in Sarah Maas's The Assassin's Blade, and she's sort of very terrible and everyone sort of hates her guts. So that name's ruined for me, but it's still pretty.
Lysandra and her twin Alisa are contestants on the current episodes of the Australian reality TV series "The Block".

Lysandra was the daughter of Ptolemy I and Eurydice. She became Queen of Macedon in the 3rd century BCE after marrying Alexander V. After Alexander was murdered, she married Agathocles, who she had at least two children with. When Agathocles was executed, Lysandra fled to the court of Seleucus I with her children.
