Had a friend who used to go by this name, thus it has left a permanent impression on me as a name that for one has the word "lie" in it but for two generally does sound sweet if you forget the "lie" part. A good nickname is "Lyly".

I too, do not trust anyone whose name starts with LIE. The only potential nickname for this name is “Lie”. Awful!
