Luise (1838-1923) was the only daughter of Emperor Wilhelm I of Germany and his wife Augusta. She was the younger sister of Emperor Friedrich III and sister-in-law of Victoria Adelaide, oldest daughter of Queen Victoria.
A famous bearer of this name is Austrian actress Luise Rainer, who became the first to win the Oscar one year after another (she won it in 1936 and 1937).
