I met a girl at summer camp one year named Luella. Everyone called her Lulu. She really liked cats and had a huge imagination. She was good at telling stories.

Luella is a very cool name in my opinion. Part Southern Belle, part Cowgirl robbing trains. Unique, flowing nicely off the tongue. Somehow exotic as well. I dig it.
My Grandma's name was Luella (Born in the 1920's). She was the sweetest, most loving person. My dad said she liked her name but she hated being called Lou. I love the way the name looks and sounds--I plan on using it in my daughters name.
