Lora

I love the spelling of Laura, but one of my best friends is named Lora; she definitely helped me prefer this one. This spelling is minimalist (I like that), unique, and overall very fun in general. If you like this name, I say to go for it! Though, keep in mind, you may have to correct others; my best friend's name is commonly mistaken for Laura or Lauren. If you're looking for an alternative name, I also love Flora and Alora (since, they both have "Lora" in them).

I love this name and would love to use it as a nickname to the name Florence. The only name I could think of as a nickname to Florence is Flora and I don't love that.

Lora is a beautiful name regardless of how it is spelled. This is my sister's name. Her middle name is Aimee (pronounced A-may). Absolutely a pretty, feminine name. A timeless classic.

I think a lot of names go with Lora as a middle name. My middle name is Heather which I love. I also like Lynn, and traditional names seem to go well like Jane, Marie, Anne, Grace, Kate or Elisabeth.
