I don't like how it sounds "Liz-a-lotte" (my personal reading of the name).
I don't dislike it. I think it's really pretty and has a nice charm to it.
I just don’t like it. Why combine Lise and Charlotte when you can call her Lise Charlotte or Charlotte Lise?
This is a lovely name, sophisticated, pretty and unique, especially in English-speaking countries. It is my sister's middle name and my great-grandmother and my aunt are also called this. Both of them were called Lilo for short. Elizabeth Charlotte is another gorgeous name, the long form of Liselotte. Liselotte is also a good name for twins; Lisa and Lotta.
Liselotte sounds like a very pretty nickname for someone named Elizabeth Charlotte, a name combo I like very much.
Sounds like the name of a medieval warrior to me. But it could still be a female warrior...
To be honest it's definitely unique and not bad at all. It could also fit a teenaged, upper-class, elegant girl who can play the piano and table prays every day, and who also is delicate, pure and sweet.
So yeah this strange name makes me think of both a medieval warrior and an upper-class girl.
I normally like any form of Lisa but this one doesn't really flow very well. It isn't an ugly name by any stretch, I just see this as a character name not on a real person. Definitely very unique!
I must say that I never liked this name. I'm not really a fan of name combos in the first place, and this sounds a bit girly and cutesy in a very old-fashioned way. Yet, it's not actually cute at all.
It's my name, and I suggest you don't name your child this if you know what's good for them. I have several nicknames eg. Lise, Liz, Lizzie, Lotta, Lottie, Listi, Leez and Liisi.
