I love this name! It's so delicate, feminine, classy, ethereal, sweet, romantic and deliciously vintage, at least I feel something vintage in it. It expresses purity, brightness, and grace. This name is proof that there is no need to use long, extravagant and high-sounding names to convey the idea of refinement. Lilia in its simplicity and brevity is an extremely elegant name, an original choice, not at all banal. I see it well on a beautiful, intelligent, kind and classy woman! I can't imagine it on a mean, vulgar woman. I also like old movies and recently I saw the movie "The Ten Commandments" and the beautiful Debra Paget plays Lilia, the water bearer girl.
Stunning! One of the most romantic sounding names!

Is it weird I prefer this to Lily and Lili? It’s such a pretty name. I can’t see how one can dislike. Don’t get me wrong, Lily and Lili are very pretty as well but honestly Lilia has a charm to it that’s not only elegant, and feminine but melodic too.
So pretty! So much better than the extremely popular Lily.

I really like this name, it’s a version of Lily but Lily is VERY popular. My mum’s cousin’s daughter is called Lilia so I wouldn’t name my kid that because there’s already a Lilia in the family but it’s so cute and pretty.
Lilia (Lily) is the most graceful name for a female. It's so soft, so feminine and you always imagine the person who has this name to be really sweet and gentle. It's a simple name, but beautiful. I really like flower names and it's one of my most liked names. If I ever had a daughter I would name her Lilia.

This name is so pretty and it's so underused, I adore this name. This name is very refreshing among all the Maddison's, Addilyn's, Aiden's etc running around.

My name is Lilia and it is pronounced both ways as the above comment states. In Spanish it is lee-lee-uh and in English most pronounce it li-lee-uh. And it is true my name is ofttimes mispronounced and misspelled. I have more nicknames than I wish for because people cant pronounce my name although I don't see the difficulty. Overall I think it's a beautiful name a perfect combination of everything a name needs and I absolutely love being named Lilia.
I love this name! Yes, it could be mistaken for other names such as Lily, but sometimes that's just inevitable. To me it sounds classic but modern, sophisticated but fun, fiesty but delicate, natural but exotic. I love it!
This is a beautiful name! I believe this is a nice variation for the name Lillian, since that name is getting very popular. My great-grandmother was named Lillian and I think Lilia would be a name that would still honor hers. I think it could be pronounced either lil-ee-ah or Lee-lee-ah. Both ways are pretty.
It's pretty but I'd think carefully before giving this name to a child. Most people haven't heard of it but it sounds a lot like a few other popular names. So young Lilia will almost certainly get called Lydia, Olivia and Lily. This could get pretty tiresome for her, could give her a complex about her name, who knows!Personally, I prefer simple English Lily.
