Love this. The flower smells SO good. And they're in that poem by TS Eliot and they are one of the prettiest of flowers. Wow. This name has a big impact.
This name is actually very pretty. That's probably because I also like the girls' name 'Lark'. :)

I have a big soft spot for this name, it's really pretty. Though, I'm not sure it would work for some people. It is really nice to me for some reason, haha.
I met a girl with the name Lilac, although it was not her first name. Her full name was Suzanne Lilac, which sounds pretty, but personally, I won't name a child Lilac.

It's pretty and makes a darling middle name. But as a first name, it's almost too sweet and delicate. But, of course, that depends on the bearer... if I met a tomboy Lilac, I'd probably view it differently.
This is really starting to grow on me (no pun intended). At first I thought it was a bit of a stretch for a name, but then I thought, "People use names like Rose and Lily and even Magnolia, so why not Lilac?" I don't think I'd be brave enough to use it, but it's really pretty. I love lilacs, too. :3.
I just discovered that this is a name, and I like it. I'm a huge fan of nature names (i.e. Vixen, Marine, Cedar, etc), so this might be one to add to my list.
It's rather pretty, and I like the color, but I sincerely don't think it would fit an adult. It also sounds the slightest bit masculine, with the final "k" sound.
This name is so pretty! It's one of my favorite names now!

Lovely and goes with a huge variety of middle names. I used to pretend this was my name when I was younger. I can't believe it's never really caught on as a name.
I think Lilac is so pretty, we have so many Lily names and varients, that Lilac does not sound so unusual. I love the smell of lilacs which happen to be my favorite flower. I think Lilac would be great as a first or middle name, with the nicknames Lil, Lily, or Lila (lye-luh).

I like this name I think it is pretty. Much prettier than some of the popular names like Emily and Emma.

Why is this name so UNpopular? I would think it's a pretty name if I met somebody called Lilac.
My sister has a cat named Lilac. She's white and grayish-brown with some calico markings on her face. She is also very fat. But she's a pretty good cat most of the time.
