Lestat

As far as I understand, the correct pronunciation is “Lest-auh-t”, which I think can be compared to the pronunciation of a short “a” sound in Japanese, or taut like a rope. It’s not common knowledge, so even the fantastic 1994 movie has the phonetic pronunciation going around. And yes, despite the different pronunciations, the name is derived from “Le’Stan’. :)
