No, it does not. If you read my comment below or just learned some basic Quechua phonetics, you would learn that this name bears no similarity to the English "killer".

The name is pronounced "ki-ya" NOT "Killa" to everyone in the comments. The "ll" makes a "y" sound in Quechua.
