Kelli

Well, I am Kelli. Kelli King. I love my name. Other than when in elementary school, I had a teacher who insisted on giving me her empty jars of King Kelly marmalade. I never knew why!

I think Kelly is the best spelling. Kelli isn’t bad, but it just looks incomplete.

My name is Kelli. I like it for the fact that it's unique and flows nice with my middle name (Elizabeth). The only problem is that people always spell it wrong. Especially teachers. If I tell them not to spell it with an 'y,' the next thing they do is spell it with an 'ie.' I'm just Kelli with an i.. learn it!

It's not pretty whatsoever.

My name is Kelli. My parents wanted to give me a different spelling. In a way "Kelli" is frustrating, because EVERYONE (I mean EVERYONE) spells it incorrectly eventually. However, I love it because I know a million Kellys, and I love being different.

Kelli is a tomboyish girl name.

This is my name, or Kelly with an I as some others have said. And when I was younger, I hated the spelling of my name, mostly because everyone else was spelling it wrong. (Including some people in my family!) But I love it now, it has grown on me, and it is a great name. (Just don't place the name game.) And with one of the comments saying that it is bad luck to be named Kelli, I happen to be pretty lucky.

One of my friends' names is Kelli. People misspell her name "Kelly" a lot though, and she hates that.

There is a bad history of the name. It's an old English fact that there's been terrible luck for the woman named Kelli. But don't worry other Kellys, as long as there's a Y, you're safe. :-)
