I have no historic proof of this meaning. From a story told to me in Scotland by a very old Gentleman, a MacGregor in fact. The story was translated from Gaelic to English on the fly. Mr. MacGregor said that the story could not be properly told in English, the name Kassia was not translated and was the main female character in the story.Kassia (KA-See-Ah) Means "Beauty of Starlight", or Un-corruptable. This is my eldest daughters' name. And she is as beautiful as star-light.
