Here in Norway it's pronounced Kah-Reen-Eh. I LOVE this name as one of my faves, and it's used for a character from one of my future comic series.

A girl I know with this name pronounced it "kə-REEN." I don't know if that is the "correct" way to pronounce it or not. She is American, but her parents are of Norwegian descent.
Pretty name! Great if you want to honor somebody named Karen or Katherine (including Catherine, Kathryn, etc.) but not make your daughter always be Katherine B., Katherine H., etc.
