This is my name, and I love it. I prefer the use of the letter "i" instead of "y" in this name because it looks clean and uniform. Kate and Katie are also pretty diminutives for this name.
Mixed opinions on this one. On one hand, everyone I've met with it has the issue of no one spelling it correctly and never finding their name on monogrammed items unless they order it custom. On the other hand, if more people used it, those issues might become less common.
I will always prefer the Caitlin spelling over all the other variants of this name, but I like this spelling and the Kaitlyn spelling. Any other spelling is tacky to me.
This is my name with the Kaitlin spelling, which by the way is the best spelling. It has the the most A E S T H E T I C and balanced look of all the spellings and there is also no way to mistake the pronunciation. I love my name; it's unique enough without being strange. It sounds nice. That’s it. I sound so self absorbed but I promise I’m not, this is the topic, Kaitlin, just happens to be my name.
This name is WAYYY too overused at my school, I know like four of them! Two of them are spelled Kaitlyn, one of them is spelled Katelyn, and my cousin on my dad's side is spelled Katelynn. This name is just WAY too overused in my school and also is Grace! I never wanna name my daughter any of these Kaitlin variants because I hate them all and they are becoming popular! I hate this name with a passion.
I'm not in love with this name. I don't hate it, but I think it is way too overused.

I know 2 Kaitlins. They both whine and complain about how "no one ever gets my name right, they always spell it K-A-I-T-L-Y-N!" It kind of makes me think, hey, people are always gonna spell my daughter's name wrong, so why not name her something easier to spell? But I still kind of like this name dispite my irratable little Kaitlin friends.
This spelling of the name is very popular at my school. There are like three in my grade. Otherwise, I do think it is a pretty name and any girl would like to have it.
