In Pokémon Emerald, Juan is the Gym Leader of Sootopolis City. He uses Water-type Pokémon & is the replacement for Wallace, who formerly held that position in the previous games & is now Champion.

Juan Díaz de Garayo y Ruiz de Argandoña, also known as "The Sacamantecas", was a Spanish serial killer active near Vitoria, Álava, who strangled five women and a 13-year-old girl, and attacked four other women during two different periods, 1870 to 1874 and 1878 to 1879. A lust-motivated serial killer, Garayo first killed prostitutes after hiring and sleeping with them consensually, but grew more disorganized and violent as time went on, attacking, raping and murdering women that he saw walking alone in the country. His last two victims, murdered in consecutive days, were also stabbed, and the second was disemboweled.

Juan Pablo Espinosa is a Colombian actor. After graduating from Gimnasio Moderno high-school in Bogotá, Espinosa went to study acting at Boston's Emerson College. He also lived in New York City and Los Angeles, before returning to Colombia in 2004. In 2005 he debuted on Colombian television at Caracol TV daily anthology series Tu voz estéreo. Later, he appeared in RCN TV telenovelas Merlina, mujer divina and Floricienta; after a break, he became part of the ensemble cast of El último matrimonio feliz and of the Colombian theatre version of Closer. Juan Antonio Marichal Sánchez is a Dominican former professional baseball player. He played as a right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball most notably for the San Francisco Giants. Marichal was known for his high leg kick, pinpoint control and intimidation tactics, which included aiming pitches directly at the opposing batters' helmets.

The highlights of his career include winning the International F3000 championship in 1998, and the CART FedEx Championship Series in 1999, as well as victories in some of the most prestigious races in the world, including the Indianapolis 500, Grand Prix of Monaco, 24 Hours of Daytona, British Grand Prix, Italian Grand Prix and Grand Prix of Long Beach. He is the only driver to have won the premier North American open-wheel CART title, Indianapolis 500, 24 Hours of Daytona, Grand Prix of Long Beach and the Italian Grand Prix all at the first attempt.
