This name was also used among the English Romani community in the 1800s:

Josias is used in the Danish, French, and Portuguese translations of the Bible.

Josias has also been used frequently in the Netherlands, though it is rather rare these days (only one baby with this name was born in 2009).

To expand on my comment from May 28, 2010: Josias is also used in South Africa, Scandinavia and the Germanophone world (such as Germany and Switzerland), where the situation of the name is similar to that in Belgium and the Netherlands: rare today, but enjoyed more usage in the past.
