Johnie Watson (1896 – 1958) was an American Negro league outfielder in the 1920s.Watson made his Negro leagues debut in 1922 for the Detroit Stars. He went on to play four seasons with the Stars, making his final appearance in 1926.
Johnie Hammond is an American former politician in the state of Iowa. A Democrat, she served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1983 to 1995 (74th district) Iowa Senate from 1995 to 2003. She was the first woman in Story County, Iowa to hold office on the county board of supervisors and the first woman to represent Ames in the House of Representatives and in the Senate.
