My wee girl is called Jette. A Dutch name meaning “Home Ruler” which she suits perfectly. She is one of 2 Jette’s born here in Scotland, my daughter in 2020 and the other 20 years before her according to national records in Scotland. I love the fact that she has such a unique and distinctive name and I receive so many compliments on it!

I wish they would add "Jet" to the site. My great grandfather's sisters were all named after precious stones, and one was named Jet. This was in the late 1800s, so it's been used as a female name for at least 100 years. I think "Jet" is an awesome name, and a cool alternative to more common gemstone names. Not so much on "Jett".
