It's okay when pronounced carefully but once you say it quickly or sloppily it sounds like "JENNNNNNNNAEEEEEEE" as yelled by Forrest Gump when calling the character of Jenny.

I actually thought this was a variant of Janae, and not Jennifer, but this is SO MUCH better than Jennifer, which I despise! Good name, but I like Janae best.

I like this name. I think it's very graceful yet childish and youthful. I was given this name to be my middle name, which was taken from my mother who's named Jennifer.

I find this name beautiful. One of my friends has it, only it is spelled Jenea.

I'm afraid it's quite tacky, and not great on a grown-up who wants to be taken seriously in this prejudiced and classist world of ours.

Can also be spelled Jenai, Janai, Janei, Jenay. I think this is beautiful. I named my daughter Emery Jenei.
