Hideous spelling.

I know a boy named Jami so it could work, but to me it’s like Emely, Stiven or Yenifer that try to make it easy for Spanish-speakers to pronounce yet looks ugly in doing so (If you’re wondering, the kid was Hispanic and so am I). Don’t use this name, EVER.

For a girl it can work, but for a man absolutely no.

I think a lot of people will read this as ''JAM-i'' instead. The spelling is really immature and cutesy, and the name itself only works as a nickname for James.

I myself have been named Jami. I think it's a wicked sweet name. I think with the E at the end it looks boring. So, yeah. I like my name. =)

I love this name. I hate it with the E at the end. This is my sister's name - very pretty and different.
