It's a garment used in the middle east. I don't know much about it, but it seems to be a man's garment that is like a kaftan. I may be wrong! There aren't a lot of resources to go off of. I was told it's a Muslim name specifically, but I've never seen a Muslim use it as a name. Either way- it has ties to the middle east and possibly Islam. That's what this user submission means by Arabic.
