Isiah

I'll admit I had a hard time mastering the proper spelling of Isaiah, but if I'd wanted to give this name to a child, I would've made sure to look up the proper spelling before writing Isiah on the birth certificate. This looks like it's pronounced ISS-ee-ah. Is it that hard to crack open a Bible to look up the proper spelling of this trendy name?

I always thought it was pronounced IS-eye-yah. I like it I-zay-AH too, that's how Isiah on Are You Smarter than a Canadian 5th Grader pronounces it. I think I would use it as a middle name. I hope it stays under the radar being such a nice name. Another person with the name Isiah is one of the Duggar kids.
