Inez Turner is a retired female sprinter and middle-distance runner from Jamaica.In 1991 she was awarded the Austin Sealy Trophy for the most outstanding athlete of the 1991 CARIFTA Games. She won the 800m gold at the 1994 Commonwealth Games.
Inez Fung (Chinese: 馮又嫦) is an American climatologist. She is a professor of atmospheric science at the University of California, Berkeley, jointly appointed in the department of earth and planetary science and the department of environmental science, policy and management. She is also the co-director of the Berkeley Institute of the Environment.She is a member of both the National Academy of Sciences and the American Philosophical Society and a fellow in both the American Geophysical Union and the American Meteorological Society. Since 2021, she has been a member of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST).
Sister Inez Andrews, born Inez McConico (1929 – 2012) and better known as Inez Andrews, was an American gospel singer, who was noted for her powerful, wide-ranging voice. The Chicago Tribune stated that "Andrews' throaty contralto made her low notes thunder, while the enormous range of her instrument enabled her to reach stratospheric pitches without falsetto". Her dramatic delivery made her a charismatic presence in church and on stage."
