Hylda Queally is an Irish-American talent agent in the Hollywood film industry. She is an agent for some top actresses such as Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Lupita Nyong'o, Michelle Williams, Noomi Rapace, Jessica Chastain, Brit Marling, and Daisy Ridley. She has consistently been ranked by Elle and numerous other publications as one of the most powerful women in Hollywood.
Hylda Sims (1932 – 2020) was an English folk musician and poet. From 1954, she was in a personal relationship with modernist painter Russell Quaye. Together with John Pilgrim and John Lapthorne, they formed the City Ramblers (later the City Ramblers Skiffle Group), playing a mixture of jazz, blues, music hall and folk songs, and in 1955 set up the weekly Studio Skiffle club in Holborn. During the British skiffle boom of the mid to late 1950s, and later, Sims toured widely as a member of the City Ramblers, and recorded for the Storyville and Topic labels.
Hylda Baker (b. 4 February 1905 - d. 1 May 1986) was a well-known northern English comedienne of the Sixties and Seventies. Apart from her double act with silent stooge Cynthia (played by a man) on stage and her catchphrase "She Knows Y'Know", she played pickle factory owner Nellie Pledge in the sitcom Nearest and Dearest (aired 1968-1973).
