Hosea

A very nice name whether or not you're religious. If you're Jewish or Christian, it makes a good alternative to overused John, Jacob, etc while still having a positive and spiritual meaning. If not, it's still a good meaning and an attractive name. Because of Ze Frank I have a really good impression of this name (and Ze is a great nickname!), and it's unique enough that your child won't have to compete with half a dozen others of the same name in every class.

A very nice name with a pleasant biblical association. I prefer Hosea to Hoshea.
