The Diary of Horace Wimp is a song by Electric Light Orchestra. The lyrics take us through a week in the life of an oppressed man who nevertheless overcomes his shy nature with the help of "a voice from above". He defies the odds and gets the girl. It's a good song and the reason why the name Horace is a good name IMO.
