There is a character named Hector in the A Series of Unfortunate Events book series. In The Vile Village, every citizen of the Village of Fowl Devotees is technically a guardian of the Baudelaires, Hector is the one who takes care of them, so he could be called their only guardian.
Hector is one of the six mascots of the mobile trivia game Trivia Crack and its respective YouTube webseries, Triviatopia. He represents the History category, so he wears an old-fashioned cavalry helmet.

Hector is the first name of the deuteragonist in Disney/Pixar's film "Coco," the highest grossing film in Mexico. Hector's character is all about holding fast, making this a very appropriate name for him.
This is the first name of Captain Barbossa from POTC (Pirates of the Caribbean). It's revealed in the commentary. Captain Hector Barbossa, kinda sounds odd but I like it. Captain Barbossa is my favorite character and Captain Sparrow is my favorite. I guess I have a thing for Captains.
Hector Sanroman was a character in the famous serial from Mexico "La Madrastra." Every time I hear this name it makes me think of him because it fitted him and the even the meaning did.
