My name, and as much as I wished it was spelled Hannah when I was younger, I’m fine with it now. I’m Polish so obviously my parents weren’t gonna name me Hannah. People misspell it all the time, which is a given since I live in an English-speaking country. It’s actually pronounced Han-nah (the n is pronounced twice) not Han-uh but I never correct anyone cause it really doesn’t matter to me. At home and in Poland everyone calls me Hania anyway which feels way more like my name than Hanna.
The number one name in Hungary at the moment. I think it’s very nice, and I prefer it without the extra H.
I... think it's boring and plain, sorry 😶.
I used to prefer this spelling, now I feel that Hannah feels more complete. Still, I love this name, and I do not agree with all of these bad comments on it.
Ugly!
Way too overdone and boring!
Very nice but I slightly like Hannah more.
Much, much better than Hannah. This name is also used on the hurricane name list.
I used to prefer this spelling but now, with a change of opinion, I favour the more frequently used, "Hannah" Hanna is fine but I can see why the spelling of Hannah is enjoyed more. As a writer, I named one of my characters Hanna and I'm glad I decided to change it to Hannah instead. :P.
Good name. I love Hanna Marin from Pretty Little Liars, she's my favourite character in the show and creates a good association of this name for me. I like it better without the pointless H at the end, also if it's spelled Hannah the name is a palindrome and the kid might be told this throughout her life when she introduces herself, which could be annoying. A good middle name for this name is Eleanor, which is Hanna Marin's middle name.
I had a childhood friend named Hanna and not only did I think the spelling of her name was really cool, but I also loved the pronunciation ("HAHN-na"). It was so fresh and unique from Hannah ("HAN-na") which just sounds whiny to me and reminds me too much of Hannah Montana or banana.
This is my name and growing up I hated it because I thought it was too simple and boring and people always put the H at the end which bothered me. But people always compliment my name and say it's pretty and that they like it. Most other Hannah's and Hanna's I've known are nice, smart, calm people.
My sister's name is Hanna (pronounced almost HUN-ah), like without the 'h', and I think it's prettier than Hannah. Because Hannah looks like really chunky and bulky, no offense to those called Hannah.
Ok first of all I love it spelled without the H at the end. And I do like it with the H at the end. But my name is HANNA and I like it just the way it is. Very unique, it really is pretty BOTH ways with and without the h.
I personally prefer Hannah, but this is a really pretty name! The reason is, to me Hanna looks incomplete without an extra -h. If I could, I would write the extra -h at the end of Hanna in novels.
I love the name Hanna! It's an awesome name. I like it spelled H-A-N-N-A. I don't know why anyone wouldn't love this name! Oh and if you make it a palindrome it's not unique anymore.
I prefer to spell this name with the H at the end. (Plus, when you do it that way, it's a palindrome.)
I agree with the person above me: this spelling looks much better and I like that it's slightly more creative than just plain "Hannah."
Actually, even though I may be veering to the kreeyaytive side, the name looks better without an 'h'. Less. Bulky.
I know a girl named Hanna. But her name is pronounced "HAW-nuh" not "HA-nuh", I really don't like it pronounced that way.
Very pretty name. I like this version better than Hannah. It makes it a little more unique.
I don't like this spelling of Hanna, I prefer Hannah.
I think this name is very pretty.
I dislike it when people misspell my name (Hannah) as Hanna. But for other people, I sort of like it without the second h.
"Hanna" reminds me of "Rihanna".
