This is my daughter's name and I absolutely love it. I thought the spelling of Hallie would be confused with Haley. She is always the only Halle in her class and she gets compliments on her name. Yes, people always pronounce her name wrong but she kindly corrects them every time. And, a hilarious fact, my ex husband’s cousin stole this name for her daughter...apparently coming up with her own name was too hard lol. So, it can’t be that bad of a name for all you negative humans.
Why do people hate this so much? It’s not even that bad.

I have always recieved compliments on my name and I have literally never heard anyone say it should be spelled differently. Hallie is dated. Halle is far more interesting.
Halle is a better version of the classic and boring name Hallie. It gives it a nice twist and I get a lot of compliments on my name. (Halle).

A poor spelling of such a lovely and classic name. It looks unpleasant and incomplete. If you are planning on using this name, do your child... pet or character a favor and stay away from this bad spelling.

A bad spelling of the classic Hallie. This name is supposed to be pronounced Hal-ee but the spelling Halle looks like it's pronounced Hal... Which is exactly how people will say it. Do the kid a favour and put the I in the name. I think the kid will appreciate Hallie more as this is the best spelling in my opinion. No offense to anyone.

I absolutely love this name! I love it. It sounds so pretty, but independent, and it works so well do speak. I do think it could be pronounced wrong (Hah-lee, not Hay-lee!), but I love it! One of the main characters in the book I am writing is named this.
People would immediately think the girl was named after Halle Berry. When she has been forgotten about, people will pronounce this name like 'hall' for sure. Also, ''Hallelujah!'' comes to mind from the spelling.
