Guiying

Mu Guiying, 穆桂英, was a legendary heroine from the Northern Song Dynasty. She is considered the cultural symbol for steadfast women in China. She proposed to Yang Zongbao, a member of the Yang Family who was captured by her father, and fought Yang's father in order to marry him.
