Two fictional Goldies:-Goldie, the mayor of Hill Valley in Back to the Future. He got the nickname from his gold tooth.-"Glittering" Goldie O'Gilt, a greedy and manipulative prospector from the Klondike. (Disney).
Goldie Sellers is a former American football defensive back in the American Football League. Sellers played collegiately at Grambling State University under coach Eddie Robinson. As a professional, he played four seasons as a cornerback for the Denver Broncos (1966–1967) and the Kansas City Chiefs (1968–1969). Sellers was a member of the Chiefs' Super Bowl IV-winning squad.
A famous bearer of this name is actress Goldie Hawn (born Goldie Jean Studlendgehawn on November 21, 1945 in Washington, D.C.). She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1969 for the film "Cactus Flower". She is also known as the mother of actress Kate Hudson.
Goldie Hawn's birth surname was Hawn. Her family was never named Studlendgehawn. That's an urban legend (perhaps started by Hawn herself when she was being deliberately ridiculous in an interview.) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000443/bio.
