One of the protagonists from soviet-crime drama, "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed" bears the name Gleb Zheglov.
I personally can't take this name seriously at all because it is too similar to the Russian word for bread. Also doesn't help that a name meaning "god's legacy" is attached to a man who is 165cm tall, broke, previously lived in a hostel and has homosexual tendencies.
How awesome is this name? It's like a Neanderthal man was magically transported to Moscow.
I find this name to be very ugly.
A good nickname, but for a real and true name, no comment.
Gleb makes me think of an a man in bib overalls.
