I don't really like it, but I prefer it to Jenette, because it admittedly looks cuter. I just find names ending in 'ette' always sound bland or harsh if the first half is dull, which 'gin' is.
Hi! My name is Ginette and I love it. I was named after my grandmother, who was born during the time when this was a popular name. I live in the U.S. but she was born in France. I always get compliments on my name. The only downside I see is that it's always misspelled or mispronounced.
Love it! Sounds fan-sayy and elegant to me.
Very dated indeed. Also associated with the silly character in the famous play and movie "Le père Noël est une ordure".
Despite how rare it is, this is a pretty good name. :)
Ginette sounds like a beautiful name! It's very French. :) This is one of those names that's too beautiful to be popular.
