Just replace the first letter with a "D". I don't like the look and sound of this name at all - no offense to anyone whose name is Gildo, though. I just can't help what the first thing is that comes to mind when I see this name.

In High School there was an optional trip to Italy over winter break. We had a tour guide in the Vatican named "Gildo." Most of us found this name extremely amusing due to its phonetic similarity to an object I will not disclose. If you live in these United States or elsewhere the term is used I strongly encourage reconsidering this name for your child as he will be bullied.
