Fisher

I first heard this as a name on the show Larkrise to Candleford (the really cute love interest/clockmaker Fisher Bloom) and I really like it! And with Hunter being a recently popular name I don’t see why you can’t use Fisher!

I think Fisher is a really cute name, actually. Especially for a girl, I just think it's adorable. I like it for a boy too. I think Fisher James would be really cute for a boy, and I can picture him as a good ole’ country boy who loves fishing and camping and cool stuff like that. For a girl, I think Fisher Faith would be adorable, and I can picture her as a playful southern tomboy who loves to hang out with the guys, drink beer, shoot guns and have a hell of a good time!
Overall, I think Fisher is an awesome name.

Fisher is the worst possible name you could name your child. I have a friend named Fisher and he just gets bullied non-stop for it. Please for the love of your child, DO NOT name your child Fisher it is so bad. I don't know how some parents wake up and say "lets name our child Fisher" that is worse than the damn holocaust. Please don't name your child Fisher.

All y'all are mad honestly, this name is amazing.

I would recommend not naming a child after your hobby. It's a profession name, most people who fish do so for sport, it's not really a popular pastime with young people. I'd give them something that can adapt to their unique personality.
