I always thought Fionnuala was pronounced fin-OO-la, so an anglicization would be more like Finula or Finoola.

When I was younger, I didn't really like my name cos I kept getting called Fen or Fenfen (i do NOT like that nn!) But as I grew older, I started liking the uniqueness of my name :3 seeing other people's reaction to my name is fun to see as well ( 〃▽〃)
Although...my name does get mispronounced sometimes! You'd think it'd be easy to pronounce -_- BUT! Some people read my name as "Fenel-ya" which is annoying and funny at the same time andd I can kinda understand why they pronounce it like that (´～｀) ITS PRONOUNCED AS FEN-ELLA BTW!
