The name Farrah is a very unusual unique name. The meaning for this name is very strong, although I'd rather spell it Farah or Ferah. I have never met anyone called Farrah but I am looking to name my daughter it in the future, this is also one of the reasons why I like the name Farrah, it is very unpopular and beautiful. It would be cool if we started seeing more Farrah’s around the place.

A lot of people associate this name with Farrah Fawcett. It's actually a Muslim name. I'm Catholic so I would never give this name to my daughter.

Such an ugly spelling to a beautiful name. Farah is wayyy better.
This name is really beautiful. I just hope that the parents who are using it just like the name or are naming her after Farrah Fawcett (who seemed like a nice person) and not after that trashy Farrah Abraham.
This name makes me think of the word, pheromone.I really don't know what to think of the name; whether I like, dislike or feel neutral towards it. I typically don't care for feminine 'F' names.

Farrah is a breathtakingly beautiful name. Although I prefer to pronounce it FAIR-ah instead of FAR-ah, it is still a lovely name! Whenever I think of this name, I think of beautiful flowers and bells. How beautiful is that? I'm actually thinking of naming a future daughter this since it is such a sweet name. Farrah is such a lovely and alluring name. I cannot stress that enough.
To whoever said it's unsuited for brunettes, you couldn't be more wrong. My name is Farrah, I am brunette, and I was not named after Farrah Fawcett, but rather named Farrah because my parents thought it was a pretty name that suited me when I was born, Thank you.

It's beautiful, strong, wholesome, and has a good celebrity reference. I plan on giving it to my first daughter.
Ever since I heard this name as James Gandolfini's little girl's name in "Get Shorty", I've thought it was beautiful. I foresee it becoming more popular in the wake of Farrah Fawcett's death.
I like this name. It's quite pretty and underused. The recently deceased Farrah Fawcett was beautiful, and I think maybe more people will be using her name in honor of her.
My cousin's name is Farrah. She was named after her dad, Farrell. I think that's really neat that they put a feminine twist on the male name. It's not my favorite name in the world but it totally suits my cousin.
To the person who said this name doesn't suit brunettes: uh, hello, it is an ARABIC name! Since brunettes are the norm in that part of the world this name is perfect for dark-haired women. I'm guessing the person who made that comment does not know the origins of this name and is only aware of it because of Farrah Fawcett.
