Everyone is hating on this name, but hear me out. I love Everleigh and I guess the reason is that I know an Everly. She is the biggest brat ever and I can't stand her. When I see Everly, all I can picture is her and that is not a pleasant association for me. When I see Everleigh, even though it's the exact same name, I don't see her so it's much better. Plus why are y'all hating on the SPELLING? It is pronounced the exact same way; just as if their name was Ashleigh or Kayleigh (and yes, I know both of those). I think Everleigh is way prettier than Everly.
I grew up with an Everleigh; she’s the only one I know. Everleigh is now 18 years old…born before it showed up on the charts. I have a slight preference for the Everly spelling, but Everleigh isn’t bad. The name Leigh has a personal family significance for me, so I like Everleigh. It’s strange how trendy this name is now! I always thought that her mom made it up or something.
I used to like this name a lot more when I was younger because of Everleigh Rose Smith Soutas, but now I feel kinda neutral on it. I really don’t think this name is as bad as people say it is though. I do prefer Everly, but looking at it objectively the sound is pretty and it’s decent as a name. Everleigh really isn’t that bad as a spelling. At least it’s not Eveerlayigh or something like that. The association with the obviously exploited child isn’t her fault. Obviously it isn’t stopping parents if it’s in the Top 100 now in the US.
Pretty spelling for Everly. But the Leigh suffix make me think it's pronounced leg.

This Leigh trend has to stop, these names are just so bad, like why not just use Everly or Harley? And not Everleigh or Harleigh, like these names are so bad they need to stop.

I love that this -leigh name is in the top 100 name list! Better than the tacky Everly!
I don’t dislike this name per say, it’s alright, even though I don’t usually like “-leigh” names. But I’ve seen three different “trendy” YouTube/Influencer moms use it, thinking that it’s “unique”, it seems like one of those names that people give their kids thinking that it’s so unique and different, but really it’s not. So that’s kind of a turnoff.
I actually have no idea why ya'll hate this name. It's pretty, and the -leigh makes it different from Everly (This is one of those few names with the -leigh suffix that I like!). I wouldn't use it though.

I love this name! I think names that end with leigh are pretty. For some reason this name kinda makes me think of nature.
Not bad, and whenever I hear this name I think of Everleigh Rose Soutas.

Stop adding unnecessary -leigh's, it looks a bit too try-hard.

I have to defend this name. Back in 2010 I lived on a street named “Everleigh drive” I had never heard the name before (other than the Everly brothers) and thought it was very feminine and elegant. I looked it up and saw it was a popular name for boys (Everly) in the 1800s. My name has “Leigh” in it so I decided to keep the spelling and name my daughter that. Unfortunately...a famous celeb shot this name from very rare to very trendy in a matter of 1 year :/ now I hear the name constantly and cringe.
The name honestly isn’t the worse I ever heard, but it’s most associated with Everleigh Soutas. I’d prefer NOT to think about that exploited child whenever seeing this name.
Yikes. These comments. The only reason why I like this name is because of Everleigh Rose. Otherwise, it makes me kind of sad because that poor girl is being exploited by her parents.

While the name doesn't get a lot of love on the BtN boards, I do enjoy Everly. However, I really dislike this spelling as it has way too many letters. Everly is fine as she is.
