Evangelina

I prefer this name to Evangeline only because I find it frustrating how the ‘line’ ending can be pronounced three different ways. The A at the end solves that problem :)

Evangelina Villegas (1924 – 2017) was a Mexican cereal biochemist whose work with maize led to the development of quality protein maize (QPM). She and her colleague from the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), Surinder Vasal, shared the 2000 World Food Prize for this achievement. Villegas was the first woman to ever receive the World Food Prize.

Evangelina Guerrero Zacarías (1904–1949) was a Filipina poet, short story writer and journalist in the Philippines. She edited the magazine Excelsior. Her stories and poetry were piblished there and in newspapes like La Opinión and La Vanguardia.

Evangelina Anderson is an Argentinian model, dancer, and TV personality. She has posed for some of the biggest magazines in the world, including Playboy and Maxim. Anderson and Demichelis met while he was playing for Bayern Munich in Germany. The couple have been together since 2007 and married in 2015. They have two children together.
