Eva Jessye (1895 – 1992) was an American conductor who was the first black woman to receive international distinction as a professional choral conductor. She is notable as a choral conductor during the Harlem Renaissance. She created her own choral group which featured widely in performance. Her professional influence extended for decades through her teaching as well. Her accomplishments in this field were historic for any woman. She collaborated in productions of groundbreaking works, directing her choir and working with Virgil Thomson and Gertrude Stein on Four Saints in Three Acts (1933), and serving as musical director with George Gershwin on his innovative opera Porgy and Bess (1935).

Eva Magni (1909 – 2005) was an Italian stage and film actress. She was active between 1926 and the late 1970s. Magni's first film appearance was as Lida Bonelli in "Paprika" (1933), directed by Carl Boese and starring Vittorio De Sica. She was in six more films during the 1930s. Her eighth and last film was in 1963 as the widow Nanni in "Il maestro di Vigevano" (The Teacher from Vigevano), directed by Elio Petri, and starring Alberto Sordi and Claire Bloom.
Eva Heyman (Hungarian: Éva Heyman, 13 February 1931 – 17 October 1944) was a Jewish girl from Oradea, Kingdom of Romania, who kept a diary in 1944, during the Hungarian Jewish Holocaust, in which she describes her life as a Jewish girl under Nazi Occupation; the extreme deterioration in the situation of the Jewish community in the city; and the prompt transport of the City's Jews to the extermination camps. Heyman perished in the Holocaust, and her diary was published under the name The Diary of Eva Heyman. In May 2019, the "Eva Stories" project was launched, visually depicting extracts from her diary on Instagram.
