This name when pronounced correctly is very attractive. Unfortunately, I've heard people pronounce it just like Earl. Oh no! I always think of the dashing Errol Flynn when I hear this name. Ahh.

I know someone named Errol, and it seems effeminate to me. As much as I like the name, I'm not sure it's right for a boy.

Sounds too much like "error", so I don't like it.

An OK name. It's not unlike the Turkish name Erol, which means "brave".

Errol's a great name. Handsome and unique. I'd definitely consider it if I have a son. But in the meantime, I'd definitely use it for a character.
I can’t hear this name without thinking of Errol Flynn, but that is by no means a bad thing. Errol makes me think of a strong handsome man who fights for what is right, and though he sometimes breaks the rules he has a good heart. I just want to know why somebody would ruin this gorgeous man’s name by naming an owl Errol!
