Magical Emi, the Magic Star (魔法のスターマジカルエミ) is a magical girl anime series by Studio Pierrot. It was simultaneously released as a manga by Kiyoko Arai.

Emi Maria, stylized as EMI MARIA, is a Japanese Papua New Guinean R&B singer-songwriter. She debuted in 2007 with the EP Between the Music. Emi Maria was born in 1987 in Papua New Guinea. Her father is Papua New Guinean, while her mother is Japanese. She spent the first five years of her life in Papua New Guinea, before moving to Kobe in Japan.

Emi Kaneko is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet. A native of Fukushima Prefecture, she did her undergraduate study at Hosei University and later earned master's degrees from California State University, Fresno and Fukushima University. After serving in the town assembly of Hobara, Fukushima for two terms and the city assembly of Date, Fukushima, she was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2007.

Emi Hinouchi is a Japanese urban music singer-songwriter. She was formerly signed under King Records' sub-label Venus-B and Taku Takahashi's Tachytelic Records. She is best known for writing songs for Heartsdales and for her collaborations with M-Flo.

Emi Hashino is a Japanese comedian and stage actress. She is usually starring in TBS's long term program, King's brunch. Her amiable behavior and chatting have won her a good reputation and popularity as a regular on that show. She is perhaps most recognizable from her playful "Kaimono Suki-na-Hime-sama" character, and she is affectionately called "Emi chan" by other starring TV tarentos or announcers.

Emi Fujita is a Japanese singer. She debuted as a singer with her husband Ryuji Fujita as the duo Le Couple. Their first album was released in 1994. Fujita made her solo debut in 2001. Her series of Camomile CDs are covers of popular western songs. Rembrandt Sky is her first original album, a collaboration with music producers Toshiyuki Mori, Seiji Kameda and Yoshiyuki Sahashi. Several of her solo albums have charted in Japan, including Camomile Best Audio, which reached number 27 on the Oricon chart. She has also found some success in Southeast Asia.

Emi Suzuki, also called Emichee, is a Chinese-born Japanese model and retired occasional actress. She debuted in 2005 with Seventeen and remains a prominent figure in the fashion and modelling industry.

Emi Nakajima is a Japanese footballer, who plays as a midfielder for Japanese L. League club INAC Kobe Leonessa and the Japan women's national team. Nakajima began her career at Speranza F.C. Osaka-Takatsuki. In 2005, she joined FC Vitoria. Nakajima moved to INAC Kobe Leonessa in 2009.

In the popular video game Dance Dance Revolution there is a character named Emi. It's also what my good conscience calls my bad conscience, named Emily.
