Elton Hercules John of course! I really like the name Elton and I think it should be more popular. Hardly anyone has the name which surprises me as Elton John was and is so well known. It suits a guy of any age from baby to old.
Sir Elton Hercules John MBE was born Reginald Kenneth Dwight. He legally renamed himself Elton Hercules John in 1972, after saxophonist Elton Dean and singer Long John Baldry, two musicians he admired. Hercules came from the name of a horse on a British sitcom called Steptoe and Son.
