Edmonia Henderson (1898 or 1900—1947) was a vaudevillian, evangelist, and classic American blues singer who was recorded in the mid-1920s.
Mary Edmonia Lewis (ca.1844–1907) who worked for most of her career in Rome, Italy, was an African- and Mississauga Ojibwe- American sculptor known for incorporating themes relating to Black and indigenous peoples of the Americas into Neoclassical-style sculpture. In 2002, she was named on scholar Molefi Kete Asante's list of 100 Greatest African Americans.
