This isn't a given name that I'd reach for— it currently has a very "old lady" association—but there is definitely something charming about it. I also think that Lina could be a cute nickname.

Knew a woman named Earline which is a feminine form of Earl. She hated the name and actually it didn't suit her.

I think Earline is a pretty name, as well as Earlina. All -ine and -ina ending names are clearly feminine and pretty sounding. Although it does have the word “ear” in it, not to mention other odd things about this name, but it’s still good.
I would probably use it as a middle name for a girl with a traditional boy name as her first name.
